Nurse Interview
Becoming a nurse is a challenging task, but I believe that is because working as a nurse is even more challenging. Nursing is often said to be one of the most rewarding careers. Nurses are there when infants enter this world, and are often there when someone leaves it, regardless of age. To enter the profession of nursing, you have to be strong willed, but also have passion and sympathy. No one ever said it was easy.

She then proceeded to tell me that the paths of nursing are endless; you can go anywhere and specialize in anything, and that is the beauty of nursing. She pointed out that you can find a new area of nursing with a completely different environment from the previous one without changing or furthering your degree. AJ said, “I often regret not going to school to be an esthetician, as that is what I’m super interested in, but guess what?! There are nursing careers out there in aesthetics. My dream is to actually own and operate a medical spa someday and offer those services. So find your passion or interest, tag nursing on the end of it, and see if there are options available to meet your needs” (A. J., personal communication, February 17, 2023). AJ is completely right, and I think people often forget that nurses do not always work in clinics or hospitals. Nursing is a profession that is very accommodating, not only in terms of interest but also in terms of age. My boyfriend's mom is a nurse and started off working in the trauma unit at Mayo when she was twenty; now she is in her fifties and is able to work from home as it is less straining on her mind and
