1. INTRODUCTION

The following essay aims to discuss on various avenues used to deal with sexual harassment in the workplace. Definition of sexual harassment will also be looked at and the two types of sexual harassment. Student Sexual Harassment policy states that sexual harassment as unwelcome conduct and the request for sexual favours, other physical and verbal conduct of a sexual nature. The programs put in place for the employer or employee to heal from the sexual harassment experienced in the workplace.

Reaching out to the offending party as reflected in the prior paragraph seeks to understand the offender and possible avenues to curb the behaviour of the offender. The employee that is harassed should address the issue in acceptable language that is conducive to the resolution of the grievance. Asking the offender to stop their behaviour gives more substance to the grievance indicating that attempts were made to rectify the behaviour from the side of the sexually harassed employee.
