My working topic for this paper is “Should Taxpayer Money be Spent on Space Exploration Programs?” In this assignment, I aim to explore the reasons in favor space exploration, the disadvantages, the politics involved and the opinion of taxpayers on the issue. My thesis for this research will be that spending taxes on space exploration is important since its advantages outweigh the drawbacks.

In order to write good arguments for a paper, it is fundamental for the writer to list down a set of questions that provokes the interest of the reader.
For this paper, I would am to investigate the reasons about why public funding is necessary for space exploration projects. The issues I would wish to discuss are as follows:
1. How much money is spent on space exploration?
2. Which industries benefit from space exploration? Health and medicine? Agriculture? Army? Technology?
3. The policies involved in space science.
4. Should we focus on the issues like overpopulation, poverty and war here on earth?
5. What is the future of space research?
6. Is the International Space Station (ISS) worth the cost?
7. Should NASA’s budget be reduced or raised?

By answering the above questions I hope to give my audience a better insight to space exploration by making a convincing case for the argument. In addition, I also hope to answer all the research questions by critically analyzing my primary and secondary sources in such a way that the results are in harmony with my thesis statement about how spending taxpayer money is crucial for space
