Space Exploration Is Beneficial To The US

Economic aspect of Space Exploration Space exploration has been beneficial to the United States for the economy. Space exploration has helped to change the economy and help create more technology to use. Although space exploration has been beneficial to the economy some people do not see the good things space exploration is providing to the United States. There are people who see space exploration as something that is not beneficial to the United States economy. Which has caused people to gain a negative inside to having to provide funding for organizations such as NASA. Although this has caused NASA’s funding to decrease substantially due to NASA becoming a private organization and has now been decreasing budget rapidly since it has.

Space exploration provides more jobs by having them plan and create space shuttles. Also, the money funded by the government in eventually given back to the economy. “ For every dollar spent fourteen dollars goes to the U.S economy.” ( Cox)According to Brian Cox, a clear researcher who is a credible source that helps to further understand the benefits of the United States economy, space exploration is one thing that many people do not know the benefits it has to the economy. An experiment done by Rockwell, who is a part of a bigger overall experiment over the space effects on the United States economy, investigated the similarities between NASA’s space program and jobs created in California. The experiment showed that “ 95,300 jobs are produced each year” which overall helps the country to create “ 266,000 jobs in total for the united states.”(David) The jobs being created helps to boost the economy and strengthen the economy for the United States. Also the productivity rate has gone up since space exploration started. “ the productivity growth rate has gone up 33 percent and is still continuing to increase” ( Wilson). According to Baun space exploration has been “ cost beneficial to the United States economy” and has shown a substantial amount of help to increase other discoveries as well. Since space exploration started the technology has been more advanced, which has helped to make the economy more stable due to the jobs being produced. As the technology is becoming more advanced more jobs are being created in order to make the technology. The technology also helps to boost the economy as the United States trades the technology with other countries. The technology also controls the amount of economic growth and decreases the United States might face. With people not believing in space exploration some do not know the full extent of the technological advances created due to people investing time and money on creating space shuttles. The technology used in today’s economy has shown to be beneficial to all the discoveries being made due to space being explored more in depth. Although space exploration is beneficial to the United States there are some people who do not see the use. Most people do not realize that space exploration is helping to produce more jobs for people, which leads to an overall economic boost. Also people do not see a point in funding for space exploration, since the public is not informed of the benefits that space exploration causes. A lot of people also are only informed about NASA and do not know much about private organizations that are also exploring space and creating space
