Upward Bound is an amazing program. I have learned so many amazing things from my very first day to now. This program has many helpful things, for example, the Bridge Program. At first I was not sure if I wanted to be in the bridge program, because UAFS was not the university I was planning on going. All that changed though. I have decided to go to UAFS and I have decided to do the bridge program. My family and I are neither rich nor poor, but the thought of college scares us a little. My parents and I do not know how we are going to pay for college, so any help would be amazing and I think the bridge would be a lot of help for us. I want to be in the bridge program because I honestly do not want to spend my whole life in college, I want to be able to finish as soon as I can and be able to get to work, and I know the bridge program can help me with that. …show more content…

I know the bridge program will be a great opportunity for me. I believe that I deserve to be in this program because I have worked really hard to get to where I am now; staying up past midnight studying, trying to get the best grades, and always focusing on school. I know that if I am in the bridge program that I will give it my all and keep my focus on my school work, because I know that this program is very serious and that is how I am going to take it. There are many things I expect to get out of the bridge program, for example, I expect to get some college out of my way. Also, I expect to learn new things that will help me in college and in life.
