A question asked by many curious people who have read Romeo and Juliet is who is at the hands of the death of Romeo and Juliet? The first person to blame is Friar Laurence. He is the man who made the plan to get Romeo and Juliet out of the city and gave Juliet the serum. In the passage by Ryan P. “Who is to Blame for the Death of Romeo and Juliet?”, he answers “Friar Laurence is a major culprit of the deaths of Romeo and Juliet”. With this statement he explains “He created a gargantuan plan that he improvised in a matter of seconds and expected every step to work out”. Prince Escalus was the man who made the families of the Montagues and Capulets fight again. I believe that it is not at the fault of Prince Escalus. In the Passage by Ryan P. he states “if the Prince could not keep only two families restrained he should not be Prince”. This statement is false. The Capulets and Montagues have been fighting with each other for as long as the story has shown, they were fighting before Romeo even knew who Juliet was. So how could this be the Princes fault? Another person to blame is both of the Families. But I believe this statement is incorrect. With supporting evidence by Ryan P. he says “Grudge between to people or peoples can create a massive impact on their relationships. One of the Bloodiest ways to defeat it, is to Love.
