Recommended: The impact of school on childs gender identity

Why should safe schools transgender program be in schools?. This transgender program shows the students that are transgender that they do not have to live there lives being ashamed of who they are. Programs like these can aware the students that they do not have to be ‘normal’, this program can allow students to live happy lives and be proud of who they are, they do not have to live a live that they are ashamed of being transgender. This transgender program might reduce bulling in the school yards.

This transgender program is available for students who are transgender and also allows other students the of transgender. This program is in 480 Primary and Secondary Schools are running this program around Australia. In this program students are allowed to wear a different uniform and they will be classified as the opposite sex. When they are classified as the opposite sex they are forced to uses the opposite sex bathrooms and change rooms. Principals …show more content…

what if you can’t do anything about it? I would not like someone to walk in who's the opposite sex, but its not just anyone coming in this person is transgender and has the same permission as you to be in those rooms. Does any of that change any opinions of yours or do you still believe the opposite sex shouldn't be there? I would not enjoy this experience happening. In the name of anti-bullying, Safe Schools are urged to let boys who believe in their mind they are a girl to use the girls’ toilets, change facilities and even sleeping quarters on school camps. A male can not go into a female toilet but this program is allowing them to go in the opposite sex privacy areas. But at every school there are different rules e.g. Some schools might allow if you have the opposite sex clothes on thats the change room and toilets you go in. Some schools might have it that you go in the same toilets until it has been changed on your birth
