Benchmark - Ethical Dilemmas
There are many different ethical dilemmas that society faces on a daily basis. Because of the many different views people hold, these dilemmas are difficult to resolve. For many women, abortion is at the center of these decisive conflicts (Schlesinger, 2012). Abortion is one of the most contentious predicaments in the United States. Roughly one million abortions take place in the United States in a single year (Jones, Daniel, and Cloud, 2018). Clearly, the Bible denounces the slaying of an innocent life. In Genesis 9:6 God says, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image” (ESV). Abortions should not be done on a child of the Lord.
