Describe some of the ethical issues that were raised by the protesters to shoppers entering the Wal-Mart stores. How were these perceived by the shoppers?

Walmart practices many unethical behaviours by having poor labour policies , bad sweatshops, and child labour to produce its services . the treatment of their workers in their own stores is considerably terrible, not even compared to those that work in sweatshops overseas. walmart employees are not unionized, because walmart wants to make sure they do not have a say in their profession. Walmart employees have little room to complain and ask for reform as the company would just replace the worker. The communities in the film lost many small business. Local businesses could not compete with Walmart’s high big reputation and low prices. walmart has celebrity endorsed, billions of dollars and limitless labour available for their service. Their goal is to make the most profit with spending the least amount of money. the local business owners on the other hand have a quota to meet in order to maintain their business. They must make a specific amount of money to stay in business. in bolton, stores had to be closed down creating a ‘donut town.’
