Bombardier is facing a great amount of backlash from Canadian citizens due to a recent scandal, linking one of its employee on bribery charges. Claas Belling a spokesman for Bombardier transportations said “As always, we are committed to operating in full compliance with all legal rules and requirements and our own high ethical standards.” (Brownell, 2017) The company will need to review its ethical standards procedures and implement new measures on improving everyone within the company therefore, it is clear and what is to be expected. We recommend the company highly encourage improved ethical operations and procedures among all staff members within the company in order to have the company succeed and reducing its chances at another scandal. …show more content…

As the company’s current view right now, the concern with top executives earning the most amount of money instead of enhancing the development of the company to be the best it can be. Senior staff need to lead by example for the lower levels to follow. The senior staff (top executives) needs to recognize the compensation they’ve received is way too high of a percentage and needs to cut down its funds and allocate it to ethical training program, and programs that provide support to those who are facing ethical dilemmas. Establishing the code of ethics and provide ethical training will guide and understand what is to be expected. If Bombardier take our recommendation it will likely result of loyal employees with high ethical standards and a lower chance at another scandal that could potentially put Bombardier at risk with public scrutiny and the judicial
