The genre that was created for the final project is the most powerful tool for communication that we have today, the website. Websites can be used for personal, commercial, government, news or educational purposes. One site is usually dedicated to once specific subject or purpose. There are many key elements that can be incorporated into the website like pictures, video, or links to other websites. This format was used for the fact that a website can be set up to provide the exact information that is needed in the presentation.
Usually, the general audience will not notice a speaker or an author's use of rhetoric. Rhetorical appeal has three forms: logos, pathos, and ethos, and each of them are meant to persuade an audience. As written in "An Overview of Rhetoric," "Rhetorical discourse if usually intended to influence an audience to accept an idea..." Pathos, logos, and ethos are quite common in everyday life, from books to speeches and commercials. Logos makes the audience think logically about the argument presented. Ethos makes the audience think about his or her morals and ethics, and pathos influences an audience's feelings.

In our unit Rhetoric and Politics, we learned about ethos, pathos, and logos. We also learned about logical fallacies and political platforms. It was very interesting to learn about and now I see these devices all the time when looking at advertisements. In order to learn about advertisements we got to watch a lot of video advertisements. After watching and breaking down advertisements and the specific thoughts, mechanics, and fallacies advertisers use to motivate us to buy products, we got to make our own video.
Should teens and college students work during school? There have been countless arguments based on this topic and there is not a clear answer. However, Jeffrey J. As humans, we have an almost involuntary propensity to act through our emotional frame of thought rather than our frame of logic; hence, pathos over logos. This is not due to a lack of understanding, rather is it because of our ability to understand. Our ability to understand circumstance, morale, beliefs, and the types relationships we’ve forged. Since we are able to understand these things so well, our minds, almost like muscle memory, piece together the elements of our circumstance and conceive a response that feels suitable within the context of the subject matter. In terms of subject matter, I will be providing three examples that enforce the idea that pathos most often appeals over logos, all dealing with the currently-relevant and
We are a nation of repetition. A nation where one can easily study our history to view a glimpse of our future. But we choose to ignore the facts, which are directly in front of us and repeat our mistakes with the result being terrible consequences. But we refuse to acknowledge the truth that continually stares our nation in the face. As a result, the author is comparing the reason for obesity in nineteenth century and the twenty-first century; he does this in order to illuminate the link between the two.

Abraham Lincoln, US Declaration of Independence, as well as the Bible. He begins by implying Abraham Lincoln and his statue, before which he forwarded the address.
My next goal with my story speech was to appeal to the pathos or emotion of the audience. Teen pregnancy, friends, and family can all be emotional topics, for this reason I incorporated all of these into my speech. The first part of establishing pathos was to for me to try to grab the audience’s interest. I was effective in doing this by asking them to think back to when they were a teenager. I did this in an effort so that the audience could place themselves in the story.
