It was years after all this trouble between America and Vietnam and soon she’s gonna get married. Mother and father were always happy that soon she would move to the great country known as “Châu Mỹ”. Living in Vietnam was very difficult for her. She couldn’t do a lot since her family lived a poor life. It was always hard for her to get a job in Vietnam since she was poor. She still had memories of what happened during the war years a go; bombs flying, guns shooting, family members dying, but that was all in the pass. She finally got a chance for a new life in a place where everyone has freedom to do what they want. She finally got a chance to do things she couldn’t do in Vietnam. She would always regret the choice she made saying things like, “I should’ve brought them with me.”. When she got to the city known as San Francisco she was overwhelmed. She never saw a place a s beautiful as this. This was far beyond what she imagined it would be. This was not a dream, this was real life and with that came many struggles for her. Days after moving to America she decided to go do things. She couldn’t do a lot since she couldn’t drive and such. When she went out she heard many americans talking in this foreign language so she started to learn it by herself by listening to the tv, talking to people, and things like that. People were always nice to her with things like, helping her with her English and little things that made her life easier. She started to think of a job and decided to be a manicurist so she started to got to beauty school. She than got a job after she was done with school. She noticed that it was very easy getting a job compared to Vietnam, probably one of the easiest things she did so far. Her life got easier from than on. Now she is living a normal life with three sons and one daughter with a shop own by her and her sister and she still has more to
