The Renaissance period transpired in Europe between the years of 1400 to 1600. Many people who Research and know about important dates such as this say that it occurred earlier or fail off at a later date depending on the country. It brought together the dissimilar periods of the Middle Ages and modern day history, and, depending on the which country it is , overlaps with the Early Modern, Elizabethan and Restoration periods. The Renaissance is of course known to be closest with Italy, where it began around the 14th century, though countries such as Germany, England and France. Of course many of those countries went through many of the same cultural changes and experiences . So how do people define the word Renaissance ? The word basically means rebirth. It is recorded that Miguel is know to be the best Hispanic writer in the history of Hispanic writers. He established much work but of course he had some work that stuck out more than others. One of his pieces of work that stuck out the most out of all of them is a book he created that went by the name of Don Quijote. Don Quixote is considered to be one of the first modern European novels to be created. People say that, that novel was the best fictional piece of work to ever be written. Cervantes also had written a plethora of plays, including El Trato de Argel and La Numancia, which were his most popular play productions. While Cervantes was considered to be an okay poet he did have a talent in writing poems. His best poetry works were found in the form of sonnets, and to be specific Al Túmalo del Rey Felipe en Sevilla. Cervantes would never stop writing all the way up until.his death on April 22, 1616. While Cervantes has been dead for a very elongated time , his legacy and influence that he had on that period will carry on for
