Prior to the start of the war in the Philippines, Ross Hofmann was stationed at the Cavite Navy Supply Yard. In the story “Dear Justyce” by Nic Stone, the main character Quan is faced with some tough predicaments. These predicaments lead him to make some bad decisions. Such as stealing from a gas station or joining a gang.
Every time we make a decision in life are we influenced by things around us? In Tim O’Brien’s story “On the Rainy River”, challenged Tim’s decision if he should go to war where there is violence or to flee to Canada where there is freedom; although, his final decision was to go to war he was influenced by doing the right thing and the shame or guilt he could have felt when being faced with the dilemma of going to war. When people are put into a situation when they have to choose over two places most will go with what feels right, but others will go with what will be the best for not only themselves but others around them too. A big part of this story and real-life situations is that people want to make others happy and content so they do things
In the article “Should Kids Get Paid to Do Chores?”, the mom makes really good points on why kids shouldn’t get paid. She explains that Megan’s dad doesn’t get paid to wash the dishes or take out the trash, so why should she? The mom says, “And I would be a millionaire if I got paid every time I did the laundry or made lasagna or drove you and your brother to school.”. This is a very good point because, if Megan were to get paid to do chores, who would pay her mom, dad, and brother for their chores?
it’s better than doing what’s wrong therefore the person will create a positive impact. Throughout the story, we learn that one always has a chance to make the right decision.

On Monday September 28, Barbara Moss give a lecture considering on the topic “ Family, Money, and the family. During her lecture, she talk about how money influence how decision that many familiar make today and how that decision can lead to divorce as time goes by. She also talk about some of the reason as to why money cause problem in so many family today. Some of those reason include, the ideal of couple having different opinion and views how and what to do with the money. She goes on to explaining ways in which we can handle money successfully in a relationships and also how it may help built a healthy relationship among merry couple and as well as people who plan on taking the relationship to the next level.
Everything you do has a consequence hiding in the choice. Whether that consequence is beneficial or harmful, usually depends upon the choice, or action of the person. Yet the fact of the matter remains, everything one does, or anything one will do, will always cause some other thing to happen. Not to rush into a decision, but to think about the pros and cons that our decions will have, not only on us as the individuals that took the decision, but on everyone else around us that can be influenced by our decisions.
