What is evil? Evil is defined as being profoundly moral or wicked. I strongly believe that someone is not born evil person becomes evil due to the social background and upbringing. It is an important issue because defective moral hardwiring could potentially be used as a defence in court and this could usually affect the outcomes of critical court cases. For those of you that don’t know, defective moral hardwiring is an argument or defence that people shouldn’t be charged with crimes of the parents for criminals, because they have inherited genes. As they go through the various processes of human development, Those instincts develop due to their environment and the society that they’ve been exposed to. Children speak all in simple things from the society they grow up in. Your morals develop from your parental upbringing and the society you’re exposed to from a very young age. These factors affect your view of morality and ultimately decide if you’re going to become a destructive and malicious person. It could be argued that people inherit their genetic traits and a born evil or good however, the truth is clearly that a miserable childhood and upbringing corrupts people. Some people argue that people inherit their parents genes so if a parent portrays an evil characteristic, then the child will show it too. I don’t agree with this.
