Evolution Vs Natural Selection

990 Words4 Pages

Biological Evolution is the process in which organisms or species change over time throughout generations. Charles Darwin did a lot of research and experiments on the topic of biological evolution. Most people would define it as “changes in gene frequencies in populations”. Very small changes to very big, unique changes, are involved in biological evolution. It is the change in genetic characteristics of a population over time. Biological evolutions refers to the common descent of living organisms from shared ancestors.
Biological Evolution can be explained and defined in many different ways. Darwinism says that every organism came from genetic variation and natural selection. Biological Evolution only exists in organisms that can already …show more content…

Genetic recombination and natural selection can result in information of new species. Creationists find themselves at very odd with evolutionists in regards to naturalistic abiogenesis and common descent. The theory of evolution is unsupported by the scientific method, which is odd since it is such a big part of how different species are created or how they evolve.
The third thing in biological evolution process is natural selection. Traits are found to exist within a population in a variety of different forms. If the trait is beneficial then the gene will be taken to the next generation. The opposite happens if the gene is harmful to the organism. This is known as natural selection. Natural selection is always certain because it is a strong fact that organisms adapt to their surroundings.
The theory of evolution has caused problems in the world since the day it was introduced, to present day evolution. It says that all living things are connected in some way or another and can be traced back to their ancestors. This causes problems because people believe all living things were created by a very powerful supernatural human being (god). Some people try to put the two together by saying evolution is the explanation for how god created life. There are still many people who do not want to think of it in that way …show more content…

He says it is changes in an organism that help it to better adapt to its environment. Also help the organism survive and reproduce better. Evolution by science is known to be one of the best substantiated theories in the history of science.
Individuals have to produce more offspring than what can survive. Human can control how much offspring they produce, which is unique compared to other species. Most species try to produce as much offspring as they can. The individual offspring will have different characteristics. The differences come from mutations in the organism's DNA.
Biological evolution refers to change of living things over a period of time. Charles Darwin says that biological evolution is a result of natural selection. In order for biological evolution to occur, individuals must produce more offspring than what can survive. Offspring has to inherit some characteristics from their parent. Organisms who are better adapted to their environment are more likely to survive and reproduce better. If these things happen then characteristics of an organism can change and biological evolution can occur. Biological evolution is a known fact that scientists are still exploring and discovering new things about it everyday. New species are developed everyday with new characteristics from a different
