With any commercial in today’s society they are always trying to get you to buy their product in any way possible. You should think about three key things throughout the commercial. One being what is the product, two is how the product performs, and finally how is the company behind the product is trying to pull you in and but their product. The company will use three appeals, these are Ethos, Pathos, And Logos. The company of Visit Australia made this commercial to see how many people would love to see the beautiful landscape and the culture that comes along with is. Young financially stable adults of any gender or race would have a great time on this adventure as long as they are willing to come. The ad at first seems to be a movie devoted to Crocodile Dundee. The ad shows Dundee’s son coming back to Australia and meeting up with a tour guide and traveling around Australia. The son of Crocodile Dundee is famous actor Danny Mcbride and the tour guide played as actor Chris Hemsworth go on many adventures together. These adventures show the coast of Australia, the amazing wineries throughout australia, and all of the amazing animals throughout all of the country. This product is a full trip of one’s choosing of many different adventures. These include a full inland nature adventure, a barrier reef adventure, and for the adventures in the party world there is a food and wine tour throughout the country. The trust within the ad is brought in with using the famous actors as shown in the adventures. Danny is trusting Chris as his tour guide and lets him protect and show him throughout Australia’s wilderness. This is the use of Ethos. Pathos is used for the effect traveling has on people on a emotional level. People can love traveling more than anything in this world this ad is mostly for those people. While logos is the least used it still has a small impact on the viewers. This is shown from a safety standpoint, Chris is showing Danny all of these adventures and protecting him along the way.
