There are many difforant kinds of conflict. Everyone experiences conflict in their lives, but we all experence it in a difforant way. Through all of the conflicts that we face, we all handle it difforantly. For example, some people get mad, some sad, some want revenge, and some just ignore it and stay positive. We can see how many people experience conflict through books, movies, and real life. In the book “Things Fall Apart”, the main character Okwonkwo faces a man verses self conflict. He is a very strong and powerful character, but he beats himself down. He is trying so hard to make himself seem powerful that he forgets about what is really important. He focuses on appearing strong rather than being nice to others. It is kind of like trying to be cooler than everyone else in todays day and age. He is also burdoned by the fact that his father is not someone to be proud of, and he uses every ounce of enery in his body to prove that he is not like his father. There was some really mean girls telling me that I would never make the team. I got called a want-to-be cheerleader and that made me mad. O couldhave been like Okwonkwo and got mad at those girls, but I did not. The way they treated me made me work harder and gave me the drive I needed to do well in my tryouts. I made the team over girls that had cheered their whole life and i was new at this. I had a man versus man conflict and I handled it with a calm and determined drive to make the team even though I wasnt skillfully the best.
