These checks can pay out from 9,00 dollars to 50,00 dollars according to ssa.gov. People do abuse this because they do not want to go to work to get paid, they would much rather sit around all day and get paid. Because of this people want to ban Unfit to Work welfare option according to app.npr.org. This really sad because there are people out there that really need it. This one landed a lot of people in jail for a really long time, this is when you fake your income or amount of children you have. Some rich people do this but they go within the law, other people will decide to fully go for it and fake their income. People would do this by putting down on the welfare application that they are not
