On Tuesday 1-10-17 at approx. 11:30 AM, student Erin Turner came to the security office to report being struck by another classmate, Anthony Brown.
Erin Turner a 4th grade student was interviewed on 1-10-17 at approx. 11:30 AM. Student Turner stated that on Monday 1-9-17 Anthony Brown slapped her on the face as they were returning to their classroom from lunch. Then while waiting to be dismissed from school, Brown slapped Turner again on the face as Brown walked passed her when he was exiting the classroom during dismissal. Turner could not give a reason as to why Brown was hitting her, claiming Brown hit her with out warning and for no reason. Turner also stated the second time Brown hit her, hurt a lot more than the first time.

The second slap took place near the door way of a classroom, hidden from the camera view. Three classmates were spoken to during the investigation. Two of them, Anastasia Djordjevic and Yeseilin Gonzalez, witnessed the incident in the classroom. The third student, Elijah Torres, claimed Brown told him he slapped Turner.
Anastasia Djordjevic a 4th grade student was interviewed on 1-10-17 at approx. 11:45 AM. Djordjevic stated that Turner was standing near the door of the classroom waiting on walkers to be dismissed. When walkers were called for dismissal Brown was walking towards the doorway, spun a full 360 degrees in front of Turner, then slapped Turner across the face before exiting the classroom. Djordjevic then stated that Turner's face was red in the area where Brown had struck her. Turner left the room with out reporting the incident to the teacher.
Yeseilin Gonzalez a 4th grade student was interviewed on 1-10-17 at approx. 11:55 AM. Gonzaleza stated she witnessed Brown slap Turner across the face as he left the classroom at the end of the school day. Turner was near the door way at the end of the day. 12:15 AM. Brown remained quiet during most the interview, ignoring my questions. I asked Brown if he knew why he was in the security office, asking if anything happened on the way back from lunch. Brown finally replied "I slapped a student". I asked "why did you smack student Turner"? Brown replied "because she was getting in my face". I asked Brown if he also hit her at the end of the day during dismissal. Brown Replied, "Yes, I hit her as I was leaving the classroom". I asked Brown why he was hitting her and Brown replied, " She was getting in my face". Brown would not explain what "getting in his face" meant or what Turners actions were that provoked him to strike her. Brown returned to remaining quiet, ending the
