Over the course of John Steinbeck's life he has writing many stories that involve foreshadowing Of Mice and Men is just one of many but is well known and is a very good example. In fact there are three events that Steinbeck uses foreshadowing for in the book. Lennie and George's dream of owning land dieing, Curley's wife getting killed, and Lennie's death. All of them with specific examples of foreshadowing. In Of Mice of Men Lennie and George both have a dream of owning their own place that they can call home later on this dream dies but early in the story Steinbeck uses foreshadowing to hint at this.
