The inequality in America keeps getting worst, because the government does nothing to help anyone but themselves. They encourage big business to send jobs overseas, they let big business avoid paying taxes by moving their companies overseas. Due to the fact there are fewer jobs, and more companies are paying less taxes, the individual states, and the country as a whole do not have enough money to balance their budgets. So to compensate for that huge lack of money, taxes are increased, water bills are raised, and the electric company raises their rates, not to mention phone, cable, internet, etc.
