“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” MLK. Injustice is always happening and making society a mixing pot of the good, the bad, and the evil. There is good in everyone along with a little bad, but not everyone is evil. Injustice is still around today, and maybe more than ever. There is so much bad in our nation and we can fix it. The citizens of America need to come together and unite, to fight out all the bad. Homophobia has been an uprising issue since the 80s, and it needs to be stopped before it gets more out of hand. Homophobia has been the motive behind various crimes; in just the US alone. In addition to racism, social media is making a significant impact on police brutality. Thankfully, most states have required police officers to install dash cams in their vehicles, and most officers are even wearing body cams. It’s finally becoming easier to find out who’s abusing their power and who’s doing their job. For instance, (HAUSER) “Michael Amiott was only terminated from his position as an officer for brutally beating a black motorist” Luckily the officer had a dash cam which made solving the case a lot easier. Not all scenarios can be that easy though, if there is no footage, or evidence, then there will most likely be a lengthy trial/case. That is the unfortunate reality for the two detectives. (FEUER) “Two New York detectives charged with rape of an 18 year old girl in custody” Two of the detectives are accused of “searching” the woman’s car because the two smelt a leaking odor of marijuana. That somehow led to them throwing the woman into the back of their van and proceeding to sexually assault her. The case hasn’t been decided yet, because it is waiting to go to court. The case is fairly recent, it was reported on October 30th, 2017. Nevertheless, I’m just hoping that the two detectives wouldn’t abuse their power, and sexually assault a
