They meet at a party and lock eyes, kiss, and get married a day later. Although life seemed to be great, they soon ran into a problem. Mercutio, Romeo’s best friend, falls into an altercation with Tybalt.
Tybalt probably wondered why Romeo now loved the Capulets as much as he loved his own family, the Montagues. This is an example of dramatic irony. You could therefore argue tat Romeo is to blame for Mercutio's death because if Romeo was not so love-struck when he met Juliet he wouldn't have married her. If the marriage between Juliet nd him hadn't happened then Romeo probably would have fought ybalt and Mercutio would not have been involved at all, therefore Mercutio would not have been killed.

Romeo is to blame for Mercutio’s death in Act III of Romeo and Juliet. First of all, Romeo did not fight back when Tybalt insulted him. Tybalt calls Romeo a villain and other various names, but Romeo responds by saying (paraphrase), “I love you more than you believe for we are family, even if you are oblivious to this fact. I love the name Capulet as much as I love my own name”(3.1.72-75). When Romeo says this, Tybalt becomes confused and enraged.

Lord Capulet keep her from love and wanted her to get married at suck a young age. Friar Lawrence let Romeo and Juliet get married and gave her the fake poison. Mercutio pushes Romeo to go the party. Therefore they are the reason why Romeo and Juliet are dead.

The first characters to blame are Romeo’s and Juliet’s parents. They are to blame because instead of stopping the fight between them they join the fight. So, for this both Romeo and Juliet kill themselves so they be together. The second character to blame is Juliet’s Maid.
