A nursing diagnosis may be part of the nursing process .
Nursing diagnosis is defined as “a clinical judgment about individual, family, or community experiences/responses to actual or potential health problems/life processes. A nursing diagnosis provides the basis for selection of nursing interventions to achieve outcomes for which the nurse has accountability.” (Herdman, 2012, p. 515).

To the world in general , nursing diagnosis goes a long way to help people to identify how they respond hoe they respond to health problem and life processes and how to intervene in a better way to help people heal or improve their quality of life. Decision making is a very important tool not only in clinical setting as well as family life even in society .Nurses are regarded as key decision makers within the health sector. They are also expected to use presents evidence in their judgments and decisions.
Current related research:
A research was made in 2011 by Karyn Hon, It was on clinical decision making of nurse working in a hospital. Nurses perceptions of clinical decision making in their clinical practice has been analyzed and compared differences in decision making in their clinical practice was analyzed and compared differences in decision making related to nurse demographic and contextual variables.
It has should that nursing research has concentrated almost exclusively on the concept of research implementation. Few, with some paper examine the use of research knowledge in the context of clinical decision-making.
