The repetition (again and again moments) contributed to making the stories scary.
In the story “The Landlady” the again and again moments were the landlady was consatntly staring at Billy Weaver. For instance, when the landlady frist greeted Billy at the door, The landlady looked at him up and down. In the text it says “Like you, she added and her blue eyes travelled slowly all the way down the length of Billy’s body, to his feet, and then up again. Obviosly the landlady scanning his body a, is a little add and not normsl when the recipintsnis forst meents a guest at a Bed abd Breakfast or any other guesthouses. Another example is when after Billy started to sip his tea abd he could feel he staring at him. In the story it quotes “For a half a minute or so, neither of them spoke. But Billy knew that she was looking. Another again and aging moment in “The landlady”was the repaeted nice qulaties of the Bed and Breakfast. When Mr. Weaver first walked in the Bed and breakfast at first, he saw the animmals in a cage which t him, meant a good sign and would be a goodplace to stay. Futhermore, when the landlady had shown Billy his room, he noticed that the bed was all ready for someone to getinand bedclothers were all laid out for him.
