The feelings that Romeo and Juliet had for each other were feelings of true love because they killed themselves because they thought the other one perished, they followed a crazy plan so that they could be together, and they used beautiful things to describe each other.
One reason that the feelings that Romeo and Juliet had for each other were feelings of true love is that they killed themselves to be with the other one that perished. In Act 5, scene 3, Juliet says, “Rust inside my body and let me die.” This proves that their feelings are for each other are true love because Juliet saw Romeo dead and she then killed herself to be with him because if she didn’t, she would feel sad for the rest of her life and miss Romeo.
