Without a decision to make, children continue to involuntarily enter a life of poverty because of senseless and irresponsible young adults, both male and female, having sexual relations, lacking sufficient knowledge of what the outcome could result in. Starting with young adults caring for an infant at an age in which they are still attending school and consequently have to drop out. Around the time teens enter high school is usually when they start to have sexual intercourse. Which is the reason why schools need to educate young adults precisely about sex, STD’s and most importantly unplanned pregnancies once they begin high school. The purpose of education is to transfer knowledge and prepare young people to go into society. But are high schools doing enough job in presenting the proper knowledge to teens on the subject of what they really need to know? Once teens get pregnant, most drop out, before graduating resulting in getting low paying jobs that is not enough for the caring for the baby and themselves, causing them to face poverty.
