I felt that this was a very positive and effective way to attain answers, and all leaders, manager, and organizations should consistently use this exercise. The last experiential exercise performed was called “Circle to Square.” This exercise was conducted at the Rolling Horse Ranch and had a strong element of collaboration. The goal of this activity was to gather everyone in a circle holding a rope, and with everyone’s eyes closed, attempt to make a square shape through only verbal communication. Absolutely no touching of another individual was allowed. Initially, the activity started out strong, with Ruel Nispertos taking the initiative and delegating four corners to Ifeanye, John, Locrey, and Andrew. With the leadership guidance of Kel Carter, they attempted to instruct the corner members to move and form the square. Following a few uncomfortable, confusing minutes, I attempted to give my opinions, with a few other members trying to interject ideas, as well. I realized that although I wasn’t a primary leader in the activity, and I was standing in a middle section of the shape, not a corner, my opinion did matter and I was still able to contribute effectively. Also, I realized that in my current leadership situation, teamwork, communication, and organization are of utmost importance when a goal is to be achieved successfully by a team. Furthermore, carefully assigning strong leaders and effectively delegating tasks is necessary to maintaining a strong foundation, and overcoming any unforeseen obstacles or
