A. Describe the methods your school organization uses to ensure the accuracy of organizational data, information, and knowledge. At YESPhilly, there are procedures in place to ensure that all information is accurate. When the school gathers source data, it is checked to clarify any ambiguous information. Metadata is available to note the source of new, old and modified data, and data is scrubbed periodically, especially when it becomes obsolete. The school is sure that when information and data is requested, that it is provided in a timely manner. Information and data is verified by the providing parties prior to publishing, and additional records are available in the event that further justification must be presented. The labs are equipped with desktop computers that are hardwired to the YESPhilly network. Additionally, all classrooms have two to four desktop computers which are also wired to the network. Students are allowed to use the technology during break, and before and after lunch when teacher supervision is available. All teachers are provided a desktop computer to use at school. A lab coordinator was recently hired; the lab coordinator is responsible for ensuring that students assigned to the labs (for virtual and self-paced classes) are working on the equipment in an appropriate manner. The lab coordinator also schedules teacher requests for usage, the tablet cart, and student access. That person ensures that the equipment is in good working order and maintains communication with the IT and operations director for hardware concerns. The hiring of the lab coordinator has been essential for improving the flow of the lab and the hardware, and has made the lab a more productive component of the school. The school continues to develop its technology department, and it should consider additional avenues for the students to access hardware and software, especially when school technology is not available (such as a partnership with community
