The transition from high school can be very difficult. Going from knowing everything about a school, its programs as well as surroundings to not knowing anything basically is a huge change. Meeting new friends and connections in the area could be the most difficult of all. One of the most important things that I have learned since being here is finding you "niche" here at the University. Being successful in class and also out of class is the main objective in college.
Academics the only things that have changed, socially, and emotionally I have also changed. Imagine yourself at the beginning of the school year with nowhere to sit at lunch, that's what it was like for me I had to move from table, to table, to table, until I found my friends that I still sit with today. Emotionally I haven't really changed at all, but I have changed with confidence. Before believe it or not I wasn't comfortable to sing, dance, act, or present in front of my peers. Naturally I tried out for the musical.
When I went into highschool I gained confidence to be myself and matured throughout my time in high school to figure out what my goals in life are. Now I am looking forward to graduating
The transition from middle school to high school is what shaped me the most and this adjustment has changed me in both good and bad ways. As a freshman, I enrolled in a private school, called Bridgemont High School. It was a very small school and did not have the same help as the public schools offered. I didn 't have an ELD class and classes providing extra help were limited. Eld means einglish language development, these classes are classes to help develop your english speaking skills even though i can speak english i had poor grammar.
High school and middle school are, in my mind, almost completely separate entities. Though, there is a lot to be said about the similarities between the two. High school has much more freedom than middle school has ever and will ever have. In high school students get to pick their own classes, get more food at lunch, and even participate in more activities. Middle school, on the other hand, is a very different ball game.
Ok so i 'm guessing that you are wondering what is change. Change can be anything from, experiencing a new place or trying something new that you haven 't eaten before. Changing schools can be a big adjustment because you need to meet new people and get used to your new environment. So think about how change has happened in your life. For me I started playing high school sports.so my friends changed because I can 't really hang out like those who don’t play sports.
My English grade went up from 1s and 2s. My overall grade went up to a 2.5. Additionally, in my school, we have a class called Crew. It’s one teacher with fifteen kids or less, and she helps us with the grades and communicate with the group so that you became comfortable in the group, and she was my crew leader. Looking back, I realized that if i had started high school with the same mentality that I ended it with, I would be more successful now and have much more options for my future.
The transition from Middle School to High School is extremely different on many levels. Many people that have already made their transition describe their Middle School experience as demanding and challenging. Be aware that in High School, you are given more freedom and opportunities. The size of the school is changed drastically. You need to come to the reality that you are surrounded by peoples who are four years older than you, adults.
I learned towards the end of my freshman year and the start of my sophomore year that I should just be myself. If people were really my friends, then they would accept me as I am. I realized I shouldn’t change myself to be something different. I
“This is a new year, a new beginning and things will change,” (Taylor swift). 6th grade has had a bunch of positive and negative impacts of my life. When I entered sixth grade it has changed me a lot from being more responsible to harder school classes and to having more freedom. Since I have been in sixth grade I have gained more responsibilities to handle.
It’s coming. We all know. We’re all terrified. We’re all excited. (Anaphora) We all want to run away and towards at the same time.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
Growing up and moving on to High School is a frightening experience for several young children. On first day of High School, children can be afraid of not making any new friends or making any friends at all. Trying out for a sports can be nerve recking thinking that everyone isn’t going to make the team, and I don’t wanna be the one who doesn’t make it onto the team. Falling behind in High School is a huge deal, because without a high school education children will never be able to graduate and start the life they’ve been dreaming of all their life. Children are afraid they will get even more bullied than they were in Elementary School.
“Reflection Proyect” Being in High School almost for four years, I have growth as student, also as a person, and I had developed some skills, thanks to my teachers I have had the greatest experiences as a student and now at least six months to get graduated checking my transcript data and looking for my goals for the future, I will like to give recommendations to freshman, since I had passed for that level, and I know how it feels like. My skills in classes of high School represents part of who I’m, In freshman year I had taken easy classes, because I started as an english learning, for me was really complicated because I had no idea what the teacher talked about, but everyday I keep my goal in life, that is be a lawyer, this goal is important
Junior High and High school leave a big impact on you and they are very different. The debut of high school changes you significantly. The differences can be from how strict they are, to their grading system, to the overall look of their school. This change can be very difficult for people or very easy, but for me it was the change in education and overall look that was the biggest for me. The strictness of the teachers and staff gave us less freedom at junior high but high school gives you more freedom.
