High School System vs. Middle Ages Feudal System The high school system today correlates to the feudalistic system established in 1066 by William I, also known as William the Conqueror. The feudal system was created in the Middle Ages to bring order to land jurisdiction, military control, and labor. Though these various aspects of the system need to be separated, they also need to flow together to create a fully functional system. On the other hand, the public school system is vastly different, the same feudalistic model can still be evident in the public school system.
Middle schoolers are at that age when you are doing more work and have harder topics. They could also be doing a sport and that could take up a big amount of time and then you come home with a boatload of homework and not have any time to go outside. Another reason is that if middle schoolers don 't have recess all that energy that 's stored
Middle school is a very different time, a time to start discovering yourself. Many people figure out what makes them truly happy, or what they want to do with their life during this time. It’s also the road to high school, the last stop of your standard American education. As a middle school graduate, I’ve dealt with all the ups and downs, all the A+’s and the C-’s, all the old and new friends, and all the choosing of classes. Electives are the time to have something you enjoy in school, to pick what makes you happy, but also what will help you later.
That means that how a student is grown up in middle school is very important. In middle school kids need to prepare for high school. This means they need to be more adult like and not child like. Recess is for young children who have lots of energy to blow off. Middle schoolers do not, so they do not need recess.
Korbey (2015) stated, the transition from middle school to high school is a big one, perhaps bigger than appeared at first blush. Ninth grade is difficult because it tells whether students graduate or not. When students move into high school it's so different. Willens,( 2013 ) When students start over they start to forget things. Ninth grade is the most important year because it tells if students graduate.
High school is one of the greatest pivotal times in a human's life. It is where young adults are able to form their own opinions on the world, find activities they are passionate about, and learn to create fruitful relationships with their peers and teachers. However, I did not initially view high school as a period of time for growth and development. Instead, I saw it simply as another task to complete before I entered the real world. I did not take advantage of all the opportunities around me and I began to find school to be institutionalized or meaningless.
As a freshman the transition was some what difficult for me. These are somethings I think would be good to new for the middle schoolers that are tranistioning into highschool. First keep organized. I can 't stress that enough because if you don 't you will lose things really easy and become a real mess. Another thing is a personal opinion but I don 't think that going to your locker every passing period is a good idea.
Most high school students are subject to an everyday routine consisting of having classes all day, having to talk to teachers and go to extracurricular activities just to go home to study and sleep. If you have ever watched high school musical growing up you may have thought about what high school was really going to be like when you get there. Kids wonder if it will be similar to the movie or if it will be completely different than they thought. High school and high school musical have their similarities originating from everyday life when in reality they differ in the reality of students, teachers, classes, sports and musicals. High school students are everyday typical teenagers, their attention is stuck on their phone, and friends for the most part.

High School is said to be the “best years of your life” but it was when Middle School that molded me into the person I am today. At Roosevelt Middle School, I met one of the most influential people in my life. It wasn’t until my last year that I met my English teacher, Mr.Noel, but it would be the most important year. Mr. Noel has been a huge influence on me even to this day, and is the driving force behind my career goals. Eighth grade was an anxious one, in a year I’d be off to high school and start over again from the bottom as a freshman.
When I was in MacCracken middle school, I always wondered what it would be like when I went to Spartanburg high. I kind of wished someone would have told me what high school would be like. Now that I have been here for a year and a half, it is not that hard. I have managed to learn not only a lot in class but also a lot about Spartanburg High School and its people. Friendships and reasonability are areas that I think students in the eighth- grade student should know before they arrive.
Middle School is different from elementary school in so many ways. Middle school is a larger harder version of your elementary school. In middle school you can pick elective classes that are fun and in most elementary's you cannot do that. Middle School academics are harder in general, you have to change classes and you must turn in all assignments on time. Following the many rules of middle school is harder than the simple rules of elementary.
About halfway through their freshman year they become more mature and responsible. For some people it could take a lot longer to mature. The biggest difference between high school and middle school is the behaviors of students. The second way that high school and middle school are different is homework. The amount of homework that middle school students is less than high school students.
In high school, I will be a lot more busy with homework
High school’s a different experience than middle school. From my experience, having a boyfriend/girlfriend is a responsibility. I believe that parents should make a rule for their child to try to not have a boyfriend for at least the first year of high school. They should first get to know how high school is and works before trying to date, because if you can’t handle high school for the first year, it will only get tougher for you. Then on top of that, having the responsibility of having a romantic companion is another thing to worry about.
