Why do some executives refuse to function as Project Sponsors?
Most of the Sponsors are refuse to function as project sponsors because it is the biggest task to be a project sponsors and it is not the only task to sponsor and they need to supervise closely weather the project is going on the right track and is it fill-feeling all the give requirements or not because a project will starts with a huge investments if some thing goes wrong thee career will be big trouble. So it is not only the supervise and he need to take of lot of things like recruiting the right peoples and reaching the tasks on time managing the budgets etc. Some executives refuse to function as a project sponsors intimidated because risk factors associated to it.

If you were the project manager, which estimate would you use?
One of the most challenging and dream of every software person is to become a managers because
that means it is the highest role in the project it does not come easily. We will reach that position with lot of hard work and good experience. If I were a project manager I will follow some of the estimates like fallowing the project requirements closely and gather the requirements keeps in mind the budget because it is most important thing and keep the most smartest staff this is the first step I am most concern about. My next important is Risk Management which will be takes place through the project which also consume lot of time if we are not prepare to it and it also gives lot of clarity too the project.
One more important thing is Time Management it is also play an important role because if the project is not completing on time it will cross the budget where the client will not be happy. A manager should have the knowledge of how to handle the situation and also should have the capability to talk with different level of peoples and also the right resourses behind me and suggesting the team with right ideas. Time management is must and lot more
