In my opinion the voting age should remain at 18. From 1948 to 2012, voter participation in presidential elections changed very little. I agree that politicians could pass laws making the right to vote a requirment. I believe we need a balance as well, however, letting someone as young as 16 be able to vote is not the way. Here are a few more examples that support my opinion.

I think the age 16 is too young to vote. You have hardly had time to learn what the real world is all about. I feel strongly that increasing the percentage of voters should be our goal.
