This directly contradicts the reading passage’s claim that the hypotheses regarding TLPs are plausible. According to the lecturer, it is dubious that lunar gas is the reason behind TLP occurrences. This is primarily due to the fact that TLPs being spotted near to lunar craters is more coincidence. Moreover, lunar craters are the most observed parts of the Moon, making it sensible to conjecture that it was only a small amount of gas not visible from the Earth.
