Children need to develop the habit of reading since they are young. Reading has a lot of benefits to children like building up of imagination, promotes longer attention span and etc[2]. But, with the technologies we have had now, a lot of digital materials can be downloaded into mobile phones or tablets. People might think that with the aid visual and audio effects of the e-book, children are more willing to read. However, this concept is not absolutely correct. According to Digital Book World and literacy nonprofit Sesame Workshop, less than ten percent of kids and parents alike choose ebooks over printed reading materials. According to parents, fancy features such as videos and interactive games are more of a distraction than a valued tool[2].

Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Negeri Terengganu have had comfortable environment for reading (for example, air-conditioned, canteen, activity rooms and etc.), therefore, librarian need to ensure that library continue to provide more books for families. Books provided will be categorized according to ages range like 0-3, 4-7, and 8-10 years old. This approach could ease the children in searching books they are interested in and understand the contents of the books. If the contents of the books are too deep for a child at certain age, he/she will lose the passion towards reading when they could not understand anything when they are reading. New books are needed because books we have had for children section are all printed in only black and white.
