In Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, new technology gives a very different look to the America that was known in the 1950s and even now. Bradbury at the end of World War II sees a high probability of destruction of the current society into something very different. For that reason he writes Fahrenheit 451 as a warning towards the people of America on what he believes future America will look like. Bradbury makes his argument in the novel Fahrenheit 451, by describing a society that lacks books; however the book’s main purpose conveys a message of concern for growing technology not censorship.
