Failure comes in many shapes, and sizes. Often followed by feelings of embarrassment, or shame. I’ve come to learn that failure is a good teacher, and it’s important to learn from your failures to succeed. I picked an experience that shaped me, and helped me grow as a person. Over the summer, I was a part of this Health Career Exploration Program (HCEP). I was eager, especially as someone who’s interested in science, but more specifically, the health field, this seemed right up my alley. For the program, I went in 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 6 weeks. It was a little overwhelming, to be completely honest. We had an “orientation”, but nothing can truly prepare you for it.
