Fake Blood Essay The theme in the book Fake Blood by Whitney Gardener is, don’t let someone change who you are. Some people say that the theme is true to their friends because Aj did not stay true to his friends. The three reasons why the theme is don’t let someone change who you are is Aj, Hunter, And lastly the teacher changed. The first reason why the theme is don’t let someone change who you are is Aj. This is true because the text said “...But that's what happens to vampires in the sun.” (Page 92) This means he changed to a vampire. But he should not have done that because Nia, his crush, started casing and hunting him. But he only changed because he thought he did not have a shot. This is true because on page number 264 it said “... Who can go the longest without talking to you bet.” This means his friends were mad at him. Don’t let someone change who you are, it is a stronger theme. The second reason why the theme is don’t let someone change who you are is Hunter. This is a fact because it said on page number 143 “... It’s real wolf fur.” This means he changed because Aj changed to a vampire for Nia. But this affected him negatively because the teacher thought he was a real wolf and he locked Hunter in his lumberjack house and almost got killed. This proves why the theme is don’t let someone change who you are. The final reason why the theme is don’t let someone change who you are is the teacher changed. This can be proved because in the text it said on page number 141 “Oh little trivial facts about cacti crepes. . . and castles” This means he is a teacher, but he is a vampire because only vampires live in castles. Aj did this Hunter, and the teacher even did this but they all had good reasons why but there were some down sides for Aj it was Nia,his crush,Started hunting him and she was the reason why he changed. And for Hunter, the teacher was going to kill him.And lastly for the teacher, his girlfriend broke up with him. But what you can learn or do differently is accept who we are,not change a thing no matter what.
