How could such a great empire that could not be stopped fall into pieces and never be great again? Rome was the prime example of one of the greatest empires of all time. It was said that Rome was so powerful that they would never be stopped upwards of 800 years. Rome’s political, economical, and military aspects were the main reason for their power. Rome invented road systems, advanced medical treatment, calendars, and much more. They conquered many lands and won many wars such as the Punic Wars, and they were able to do so with the help of their strong military. In fact, Rome was home to the strongest military in the world at the time. Clearly, Rome was the strongest force in the entire world, however, the leaders were not able to uphold the power of Rome. It was said to be a death sentence after the end of the Five Great Emperors era because of the rapid death rate of the emperors. There were 20 different rulers within only 75 years before the end of Rome. The economic, military, and political demise of Rome along with the many corrupt emperors ultimately led to the fall of Rome.

Rome was a target of many for a long time because of how rich and powerful they were. People wanted the Roman riches and power for themselves, and they had to dismantle the empire in order to do so. Rome falling apart inside led to Rome being vulnerable on the outside as well. With the economy failing and corrupt leadership and a weakened army, the barbarians were easily able to destroy Rome even more on the inside. The emperors also became cruel and were nothing like the Five Great Emperors. They used all their power against the people of Rome and were very corrupt.
