Conclusion
Family work practice is one of important element in CAFS. Working with families would not be separated from treatments for those children and youth who are suffering from serious mental, and alcohol and drug issues. The family is the fundamental unit of society, and it has huge direct and indirect impacts on child’s development. There is possibility that the child could be exposed to risks. With family intervention including psychoeducation and family therapies, practitioners are able to offer opportunities to gain more understanding of mental health and coping strategies to the clients and their families.
