Fast Food
Fast food is the largest growing product in the United States. Would warning labels on these products save people from growing larger as well? The famous Hawaiian musician, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole, died at age 38 in 1997 weighing as much as 758 pounds. During his music career, he was in and out of the hospital due to complications of breathing and other instabilities. Nowadays, people are so “overscheduled and overcommitted” that fast food and other sweets are their comfort foods to where they don’t think about it since it’s easy to get (OAC). I believe if fast foods came with a warning label, people would take better care of their own
