Documentary: processed vs Nutrition The reason I chose Food Choices because there are variety of healthy and unhealthy foods. The documentary of processed vs Nutrition has lots of information about natural diets in combination with some meats and fish. They were trying to say that natural food is much better than processed food. I agree with this information that this documentary is trying to tell because of the new technological advances have increased the inexpensive food production tremulously.Because of the factory producing many fast food; we as a society eat more fast food than home cooked meal. Also, the convinces food are higher in the calories than home cooked meal. We as society eat less healthy food and because our ways of eating changed and it led us to the emergence of obesity as recognize chronic disease. There is also too much salt added to snack food. I felt the video supported the food my family cooks at home. My family always has fresh vegetables from their garden. I do not think my family need to change anything about . However, I need to have some changes in my diets because I eat lot more processed food. In addition, In our daily basis we should always eat fresh fruits and vegetables like they were showing on the video. Often the packaged food we buy in the store is processed with sugar and salt to help pressure the self-life. Who thinks of sugar or salt when they buy salad dressing? It is important to read the labels. The more ingredients list, the more chemicals names on the labels and the less ingredients there are the natural and healthy. They believed that fresh vegetables and fruits can keep people healthy and also help with weight loss. Choosing vegetables, fruits, and high protein meats help us live healthy and longer.
