Fastenal has always kept up with changing technology. As technology has changed Fastenal has implanted new software and data to help its employees compete and thrive in a competitive market. They have updated their website many times to make it more user friendly. Even though they have made all of these changes, like all technology, there is always room for improvement. As I’ve talked about in my previous proposals, Fastenal does not have any remote access sites that employees can use when they are at a customer location. An application that could be downloaded to an employee’s phone or ipad to use at a location would deem very useful. The ap could just be used for Fastenal’s vending machines. It would be able to access the same information
