Management Plan This section will go over our planned schedule, necessary materials, costs/budget, and necessary personnel required to complete the product in this proposal. To accomplish this proposal, it has been divided into six sections: Market Research, Design, Resource Allocation, Prototype Creation, Testing and Modifying, Final Product Manufacturing. Schedule It is estimated that it will take between 11 and 15 months to accomplish the six stages of the project proposal. The section stages will be explained for in-depth as follows: Market Research. During this first step, market research will be performed on the potential target audience. Through surveys and one-on-one interactions discussing the HotSoc product. Next, is the receiving …show more content…
This step involves comparison pricing and finding materials necessary to create the HotSoc prototype. The necessary materials need to be within the budget, good quality, and easy to access. This stage will take between two and three months. Prototype Creation. Stage four is the actual creation of a HotSoc prototype. This step is necessary to be able to perform product testing before the product can be sold on the market. This stage will last approximately three months. Testing and Modifying. This step involves rigorous testing of the HotSoc prototype. The prototype will undergo testing such as temperature sustainability, material durability, and water resistance testing. After the tests have been performed, any modifications that need to supplement any failures or less than desirable test results will take place here. This step will take between four and five months. Final Product Manufacturing. After all the testing and final modifications, the final product will begin to be manufactured. Once there is enough stock built up, the HotSoc can be put on the market for sale. The final manufacturing and stock building will take approximately one to two months. A Gantt Chart has been provided in Figure 3 to see a detailed timeline of the project
