I remember back when I was a five-year old and all the ambitions I had to become an outstanding woman when I grew up. I remember looking up to my older cousins who were in college and knowing that I would be in their shoes one day. Hearing them talk about all the activities they were involved in and just looking for those opportunities for me. I knew that I would be successful in any area that I applied myself in, and that one day my younger cousins would look up to me as a role model. My five-year old self would see me today as a successful young lady who has worked for what I have and is ready to excel in my future. I started playing my first grade year and continued through my senior year. I was the captain of my team my junior and senior year. I also was a member of the Clover Clan 4-H Club for eight years, taking first in districts in gun safety, a cooking project, a sewing project, and show rabbits, as well as first at state in my rope tying and welding. I was a member of the Liberty Union FFA Chapter my freshman and sophomore year, assistant vice president my junior year, and vice president my senior year. FFA was a huge part of my high school career in teaching me to be a leader and to do my best work on every opportunity I receive to improve myself. I have done CDE’s such as Soil Judging, Outdoor Power Equipment and Agricultural Mechanics Skills. I am a representative for my senior class student government, and a member of the foreign language club. I am the president of our Interact Club in which we strive to do community service projects in our hometown as well as around the world. I went to the Dominican Republic over this past summer and built a home for a family that did not have one. I am the Community Service Advisor for the Liberty Union National Honor Society and have received Student of the Month for our school three years in a
