When I hear the word education, I instantly think of the ability to learn and gain knowledge so that I can achieve goals in life and live life to my full ability. However, after I build my experiences in my occupation and find value within myself, I am on the road to success in life. I believe the more degrees I have under my belt, the better opportunity I'll have at finding a great job. A job with good benefits and something I enjoy doing. I know that if I am pre educated in whatever occupation I choose I will find great value in doing the best I can. As days, months, and years went by I understood how to build high-minded habits in life like Getting organized, thinking positively, and looking towards my future to be successful.
As a child, I was thrilled to hear I was starting school, and the closer I got to Bishop Allen Elementary School the more nervous I became. I remember walking into the school thinking in my head nervously "No one is here! This is a different environment!" Because of that, I had to learn how to be independent, listen, follow instructions, be respectful to others, and the importance of leadership. These are all the skills I've learned while in grade school. As I got older, I began to work different jobs where my skills have increased. But having great customer service skills is something you don't really learn in a classroom. This is a skill I find very helpful when working with my clients, customers, patients, and even co-workers. Coming into my current job, I even learned the Management of Material Resources. I learned how to use equipment, facility policies, and materials needed to do certain work. Not everyone has skills in using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Without these skills in life, my value would not be as
