1920’s Flappers “Flappers initiated in the 1920s, the term “flapper” described women who flamboyantly flouted their contempt for what was back then deemed as societal behavior that was conventional. Flappers were women who were characterized by their choice of bobbed hair, short skirts, and their enjoyment of jazz music”(Co). These women has made a huge impact on woman lives today with their styles alone.The style of the flappers were unique for its time period. These beautiful women was known for wearing skinny tight dresses. These skinny dresses showed off all their curves and made them look more attractive to men. This is because women was dressing to be more attractive and “sexy” to towards men. The women in at this time was more carefree and sexually free at this time.These women showed more skin on their bodies and was being more seen.Because of this there was many inventions and new sceneries. These women was had new sceneries and one of the many was nightclubs because these women was dressing sexy and men paid to come to see this.Also another one was roadhouses and they was here for the same reasons but the last one was private parties and these women would get paid by wealthy men to come entertain. There are different type of flappers back in the 1920’s.For instincts you had the regular flappers that showed skin but not too much. Then you had simi flappers who were conservative and showed a little less skin and was more laid back.Then you also had the super flappers.
