6. Lying leg lift This exercise can also be performed at home and without equipment.
The workout
• If you have a bench, use it. Your legs should hang off the edge.
• Place the hands under the glutes.
• For extra resistance, hold a dumbbell with your feet.
• Raise the legs and hold them for a second.
• Do 3 sets of 15 repetitions.
7. Windshield wipers This is an exercise that is fun, but not easy for beginners. Ride a bike for several months before doing this exercise.
The workout
• Swing a windshield wiper left and right.
• When beginning training, go to a 45 degrees range of motion, and afterwards to 180 degrees maximum.
• Then, swing back and forth.
• Do 3 sets of 15 repetitions.
8. Extended arms and legs lift This exercise will flatten your stomach. It will also help you strengthen the lower back.
The workout
• Lie on your stomach and extend your arms and legs.
• Lift your arms and legs upwards, forming the letter U. keep your extremities straight.
• Hold them in this position for 5 seconds.
• Do this for 3 sets of 15
