I watched three movies to learn the alcohol and drug use perspective; the movies I have watched are Flight, Holiday Heart, and Wolf of Wall Street. By watching these movies about drug and alcohol abuse, I discovered that being a fiend is an issue. Alcohol and drug use has been expanding tremendously in our society today. Addiction can trap anyone; drug addictions can distract people from accomplishing goals and dreams in life. Alcohol and drug abuse can lead to harming their bodies, causing issues in family structure, and add to the misconduct in society.
The major character in Flight shows the everyday struggles of being a drug and alcohol abuses in a professional setting. The main character of this film is Whip Whitaker; Whip is an airline pilot, who was presumptuous flight veteran. Beginning of the film, Whip flies his plane through the storm, instinctively flips it over to stabilize the plane crash. Wanda start one up with a successful drug dealer named Silas. Silas didn't like Heart because he was homosexual and he was taking care of Niki and Wanda. Silas decided to give Holiday some money and insists, with some threats, that he remain out of their life, which Holiday consents to do, before preparing to move to Paris. Yet, both Silas and Wanda leave Niki alone. Silas leaves on a business trip, on the grounds that Wanda begins to utilize excessively of his product and she becomes a prostitute to feed her drug addiction. Holiday steps in to take care of Niki and raises her as his own daughter. Wanda addiction got worse, she starts to steal from her daughter and Heart; she wasn't part Nicki life anymore. Until the end of the film, Wanda tries to rekindle with Nicki, but her addiction got in the way and killed
